When we say: "It's what you can do that counts" - we really mean it . Sam Orde, RDA Chairman
What We Do and How It Helps
The benefits of riding are many, and we are dedicated to improving the lives of the children who ride with us both physically and mentally.
We meet every Wednesday morning in term time and run 5 half hour lessons for children who come from 3 local special schools, Phoenix, Heltwate and COPASS (City of Peterborough Academy Special School). The children who come to the sessions live with a variety of disabling conditions ranging from learning difficulties of varying levels to autism, cerebral palsy, blindness, deafness and more...
We Need Your Vote!
The Freemasons are celebrating their Tercentenary this year and have pledged £3 million to be given as grants to 300 charities throughout the country.
We have been chosen as one of the nominated charities for the Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire Province and will be awarded a grant of between £4,000 and £25,000! Each of the nominated charities will receive a grant, but the public vote will determine how much we receive.
Show your support for us and vote at any time from now until 31st July 2017.
Every Vote Counts!
How can I Donate?
Each RDA Group throughout the country operates as an individual charity, so if you make a donation to our Group you know it will benefit the children we teach directly.
Our charity number is: 1074308.
To make a donation, please send a cheque made payable to "Peterborough & District RDA" to our treasurer:
Mrs A Reader, 6 North Street, Stilton, Peterborough. PE7 3RP.
